The brief:
EMI absorbing elements are lossy devices,which absorbing high-frequency noise into heat dissipation in the stop band ,having a filtering effect.
The most common absorbing elements are Ni,Zn Ferrite magnets mix of Fe,Ni and Zn, having high resistivity and magnetic permeability(about 100-2000 ohms),which equivalent series inductance and resistance.
